Financial Management:
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
Prepare accurate financial forecasts.
Cost Accounting:
Monitor production costs, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
Implement robust internal control procedures and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Financial Strategy:
Collaborate with executive management on financial strategies and evaluate investment opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTROLLER POSITION:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Strong Financial Acumen:
Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Knowledge of cost accounting principles and ERP systems.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
