6K a year 8 days ago 8 days ago 8 days ago INFO DESK REP/ PART-TIME/ DAYS/ 28 HRS PER PAY PERIOD/ WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS The Information Desk Representative provides a welcoming and positive first impression of the Upper Valley Medical Center by providing information about facility services, patient information, visitor information and by directing patients and visitors to the appropriate location.
In addition to meeting, greeting and welcoming patients, visitors, medical staff and employees who come to the facility.
The Information Representatives will manage any incoming telephone calls regarding basic information about facility services, directions, processing calls to the appropriate location.
Education Minimum Level of Education Required:
High School completion / GED Experience Minimum Level of Experience Required:
No prior job-related work experience Preferred
Experience:
Experience with physicians, nursing staff, patients and families are highly desirable Knowledge/Skills Strong interpersonal skills required with the ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills Demonstrated problem solving skills Must exhibit an attitude of caring, insure fairness and concerns for persons of all economic and social levels, races and cultures Ability to operate in a high stress environment and manage multiple tasks while remaining focused on the overall delivery of service to consumers.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
