We have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Service Technician II in our Troy, Ohio manufacturing facility.
In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job
Responsibilities:
Provide superior service and support to customers.
Build trusted advisor relationships with commercial customers by providing parts support, technical expertise, and installation assistance to ensure a trouble-free product and installation.
Process requests for warranty, repair, replacement, and conversion parts on all commercial sectional products.
Expedite priority orders in a quick, efficient fashion.
Providing the best solution for the customer, while ensuring the most cost-effective solution for the business.
Provide accurate, clear, and concise written and verbal communication to internal and external customers.
Interpret and analyze engineering and technical documents for commercial projects.
Ability to interpret and read project blue prints, drawings, door schedules, elevations and specifications.
Serve as point of contact for commercial technical questions and troubleshooting.
Generate product reports so quality issues and customer experience improvements can be addressed by the correct group within the company.
Utilize engineering tools to verify dimensions, parts information, counterbalance systems, and sectional specifications.
Diagnose complex and difficult customer complaints, advise and implement remedies.
Review, negotiate and process labor back-charges and dealer requested credits within established guidelines.
Mentor Commercial Service Tech I associates on technical and procedural knowledge.
Collaborate with the Learning team for commercial sectional training.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
A high school degree is required, along with a minimum of two years of related experience and training Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred Prior product installation and technical knowledge in a customer service environment.
Microsoft Office experience Oracle experience preferred.
Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to calculate dimensions and pricing Internal applicants must have been in their current position for a minimum of 18 months or get their supervisor approval prior to applying.
