Shipping Supervisor - 3rd shift

We have an excellent opportunity for a Shipping Supervisor - 3rd shift - in our Troy, Ohio location.
In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job
Responsibilities:
Safety of personnel, quality and security of product.
Lead, delegate, and motivate employees.
Keep the shipping docks, warehouse areas, staging area (s), and all storage areas in a clear, orderly, and safe manner.
Instruct coordinators, loaders, material handlers and equipment operators on the safe handling of materials.
Verify all outgoing product.
Ensure inventory is being rotated.
Manage inventory by properly handling, staging and shipping finished goods.
Drive continuous improvement projects and formulate recommendations to improve product flow and appropriate equipment.
Implement identified safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
Select, train, coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed.
Monitor employee performance.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures and document appropriately.
Accomplish staging, shipping and organization mission by completing related reports as needed.
Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent education/work experience.
5 or more years' experience in leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent leadership, finished goods inventory control skills, organization, dependability and communication required.
Reporting and analysis skills required.
