General Summary/
Responsibilities:
The Rehabilitation Specialist/Therapist is responsible for establishing, coordinating, organizing, and implementing a balanced rehabilitation therapy program based on the specific ages, needs, and treatment issues of the patients served.
Responsible to make professional decisions to ensure patient safety during rehabilitation therapy and experiential therapy groups.
Includes knowledge of, and proper use and maintenance of, rehabilitation and experiential equipment and the purchasing of supplies.
Also, responsible to maintain knowledge of current inventory and professional trends and to maintain national level professional certification or state level registration.
