We have an excellent opportunity for an Outside Processing Support Agent at our Troy, OH Manufacturing facility.
In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job
Responsibilities:
1) Edit, analyze, interpret and service internal and external customer inquiries via correspondence, faxed orders, telephone calls and email messages.
2) Identify and process orders related to outside processes.
Coordinate these orders with the Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Customer Experience Team and advise the business of order changes, shipping and delivery dates in accordance with policies or other changes such as delays, lead time changes, etc.
3) Follow up on issues, which may require replacements, factory servicing or other adjustments to ensure customers' satisfaction within established policies.
Communicate to Quality to resolve issues.
4) Facilitate requests for information relative to technical or engineering application requirements.
5) Investigate and expedite product due to warranty claims.
6) Data entry of purchase orders to suppliers.
7) Coordinate and follow up with supplier on due dates of PO's and expected lead times.
8) Check and approve payment invoices for orders placed, when required.
9) Develop and maintain necessary records and files for efficient operation.
Job Requirements:
1) Associates degree is preferred along with 18 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2) Previous customer service experience, purchasing, clerical or office experience is required.
3) Experience using Microsoft products including Word and Excel.
